Architectural designers Contech create a warm and welcoming space for clients and staff at Repromed.
‘Giving patients access to their appointments and treatments in one convenient location,’* the purpose-built Repromed facility at Dulwich, South Australia, by architectural designers Contech is a physical reflection of their philosophy.
Featuring beautiful Porta Contours timber lining boards, the reception area is warm and welcoming – providing a comfortable space for both clients and staff.
Inspired by the contours of the Australian landscape, Porta Contours add natural warmth, tactile interest, and movement to any space. Made from durable, solid timber, they are available in a range of stylish designs to complement your space.
For the reception desk and planter box, Contech selected the undulating curves of Riverine in Tasmanian Oak. For an uplifting effect, the top half of the lining boards on the reception desk were painted in Dulux Whisper White.
Tasmanian Oak is ideal for use in high traffic areas where wear and tear is prominent. This gorgeous Australian hardwood adds warmth and richness to the material palette.
‘Due to the nature of the business, it was essential all building elements were VOC free and constructed off site to reduce any potential air contamination.’^
Sustainable and responsibly sourced, Contours are suitable for vertical and horizontal applications and have been designed for ease of installation with a secret fix tongue and groove connection.
Contours enhance an interior space and deliver a warm and tactile backdrop. They can be used to clad joinery, reception desks, counters and banquet seating as well as creating straight and curved feature walls and secret doors.
