The Block (Season15) saw the transformation of the Oslo Hotel in St Kilda into five three-story homes and our gorgeous Porta contours made their first TV debut.
With design advice from Matthew Menichelli at Elevate Building, Tess & Luke used the Cirque profile timber lining board which helped create a space the judges fell in love with.
“There has been a strong trend over the years of timber being used as a feature or statement piece. Given that it was a bedroom on this build we were striving to create a warm, inviting and moody space. I knew of the Contours range, but never worked with it previously. I was confident it would bring the look as well as provide the tactile feature and intrigue we were wanting.” Matthew Elevate Building Group
The timber feature wall perfectly hit the design brief adding warmth & texture to the guest bedroom and subsequently claimed it's own style term from the judges "Scan-Deco".
